The bond between every child and its natural family is invisible but it exists as do family karmic trails etc…. because the child CHOOSE ITS PARENTS BEFORE BEING BORN….and all we humans do is create an industry out of innocent children.

Those who adopt are mostly needy adults or brainwashed by the media to believe they are doing good.

What if these so called caring adopters actually adopted the entire family and support it financially and watch the children grow in their natural environment.

Would not that be something to see…instead of all the middle men and women lining their pockets from legalised child trafficking.

That is human brothers and sisters working together and not for money.

Adoption industry is another form of slavery- dressed up to look good, but it is still slave trading.

This is a very intriguing blog that deserves more attention. I’m sympathetic to you on every level of this word. As a 22 year old who was once stuck into the realm of using such a derogative word, I had to enlighten myself in a way that would be geared towards this struggle for truth. Unfortunately, this word won’t die but racism won’t die either. This parallel shows that despite it never ending, we need to still fight; shining light onto those that are misguided, misconstrued, and misinformed. I don’t debate or argue. I intend to raise awareness, informing those to what we are doing to ourselves. Ronald Martin need to open his eyes a little bit as well because this N-word can bring our race closer together on every level.

I posted a note on the N-Word on facebook, raising some eyebrows. However, I took another approach and this approach was this: How about our ancestors who worked 12-14 hours a day, picking cotton until the white meat of flesh was showing, recieving(not “earning”) a mere 2 cents a week? This word is degrading our ancestors in ways that would make them look at this generation like it’s the slavemaster as a whole. That word, “nigger” means “ignorant” at its core. “Nigger” and “Nigga” is not anymore different then “brother” or “brotha” in verbal terms. We don’t need to get caught up on language because we can push this further. Nas said explicitly, “we are the slave and the master” in his song “N.I.G.G.E.R”. We are like this in our own race! I added much more but in a nut shell, that’s what I had put forth.

Dr. Dyson said the term, “nigga” is a term of endearment or a term of love. I shook my head when I heard this. I raise this question: how is this love a term of endearment when it’s used in contexts that doesn’t promote love? For example, when we talk about crime, what’s often said as the last word, promoting hatred towards another brother or sister who is about to get beat for no reason whatsoever? What word is said when people show their egoistic traits to uplift themselves over a fellow brothern who spoke the truth? You get where I’m going. I don’t recall Dr. King using the word. I don’t recall Fannie Lou Hamer using the word. I don’t recall Dr. West using the word. I don’t recall Farrakham using the N-word.

All in all, the N-word shouldn’t be used in ANY context, lyrics or not. I don’t even want to get onto the other two problems you mentioned but I like your blog. God Bless.

I think if issues 1 and 2 were attacked with vigor then issue 3 would be less of an issue. If there were a Black Lobby established to pressure political candidates then Ron Paul would actually have a shot at garnering the vote of the minority community… that is, if he provided a cohesive plan and presented his idea to the Black Lobby. We are not beholden to these “Foxy” Democrats and “Wolfy” Republicans.

To your 3 issues.

1. We need to free up business in the US. Unions and regulations have driven the manufacturing jobs overseas.

2. End the war on drugs. Its pointless, its a personal problem, not a criminal problem. And it unfairly targets minorities.

3. No clue how to fix this one, as I believe its partly cultural. Hopefully messages like Dangerous Negro’s take off and education becomes priority. This is a family issue though not a gov’t issue, no one is ‘entitled’ to higher learning. There was never any question on whether or not I was going to University, my parents insisted. I never had a choice. Loans/scholarships are easily available if one’s parents lack funds.
